Brightside Academy-25th & McKean is an accredited South Philadelphia child care and school readiness provider. We service children from 6-weeks- to 12-years-old and are conveniently located near South Philadelphia Shopping Center and Quartermaster Plaza, Public and Charter schools, and faith organizations. Our caring staff provides nurturing care in a safe, modern, state-of-the-art learning environment. We proudly accept CCIS and offer the Head Start quality preschool program.
Children are born eager to learn. Brightside Academy’s curriculum helps lead children to their full potential and prepares them for success in school and beyond. Our kindergarten readiness programs teach age-appropriate lessons that encourage development in a safe and nurturing environment. Trained and experienced teachers care for and educate infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in the areas of reading, math, communication, and exploration daily.
Kids enrolled at Brightside Academy – 25th & McKean receive FREE diapers, training pants, and wipes while attending the academy!
School-age children benefit from before- and after-school care in a supervised and enriching environment and from a fun summer camp program when school is not in session.

Brightside Academy 25th & McKean is open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday to Friday. We are convenient to Wilson Park Project Homes families among other areas. Public transit buses stop near the academy at 25th & Snyder.
